ReplyDeleteI was skeptical at first. Why buy little ones when I have all the big ones? But I just came back from a beach vacation and would have loved to have had a few of these minis. I took a lot of distress markers with me but pined for some ink pads.

ReplyDeleteThey are so handy to travel with, and since I already have refills I can use those when needed. Plus, they are so cute and the new foam handles work well with them.

ReplyDeleteThese mini's have made it so much easier to take my ink camping. Theres not much room for storage so every time I try to take my crafts hubby shakes his head. now they all the mini inks and mini tools will fit in a zip lock bag. :)

ReplyDeleteTo be honest what isn't there to love about the new mini distress pads. They are stackable and being the size they are will enable you to take more with you when you are on the move.

ReplyDeleteI find myself using distress inks more and more - they are just so versatile! I think I like these baby ones because they will be so useful in inking up areas of stamps when I want to use more than 1 color at a time! That set #4 has my name all over it - looks like Easter colors!

ReplyDeleteI have the browns with black soot already! What is great about them is they are easy to take with you on the go due to their small size and easy to handle when using with a firmer grip for those small places and edges. And they work great when stamping and using the new smaller mini ink blending tool.

ReplyDeletebesides been completely adorable, the minis are so much more convenient to take to weekly card classes than the larger distress pads. And the mini blending tool is awesome, perfect to use on layering stamps as you can scootch just into the area you want, and not go over the stencil. And besides, pretty much anything Tim puts out, I need it... :)

ReplyDeleteI have never tried the distress inks before but I am LOVING kit #4's colors! So I can tell I will be trying them very soon :) I do think I will like the small size because that way I could use them on edges without needing a sponge.
