Tattered Floral Die

Thanks everyone for such nice comments about the Tattered Floral Challenge.  It was quite a departure for me to use such bright colors but I liked it since it was so cheery.  So many people said it reminded them that Spring was just around the corner.  I know the cherry trees are already in bloom here in California and we got our first really foggy evening on Saturday night...a sure sign of Spring where I live.

Rainbow - New Zealand 2012

On a side note from the giveaway today...

My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Nic Howard and her husband Paul (sounds like "Pol" with a good New Zealand/James Bond accent) when we both taught in South Africa in 2011.  We remained friends after the event and I went to New Zealand to teach at her event in 2012.   Paul and Nic are the nicest of people...with the 3 greatest kids you would ever want to meet.  Really, the kind of people you want to live next door to (funny, since we both live on Sunset Street but in two different countries).
Nic was in California in Jan. at CHA when Paul's mother unexpectedly passed away.  She wrote a beautiful blog post today that has such a lovely message and is so beautifully written that if you have a few minutes I encourage you to take a moment to read it here.  You will not be sorry.
