Supply List

Debbie and I are busy (an understatement indeed) getting everything ready for the Advent shipment on the 15th.  Today I pruned the lilac bush in my backyard for the twigs we need, but I didn't have quite enough so everyone in my neighborhood be on alert... if you see me coming down the street with cutting shears you will know what I'm after.
Our good friend Lorraine from Australia is here for a week so I have put her to work stamping, cutting, bleaching, etc.  No rest for the wicked, I say.  Deb has had some help on her end with her daughter-in-law stopping by to help.  And then there's the sisters..we can't leave out the sisters because they always help out when we do the big projects.  I really don't know what we would have done without Ann on this one.

It was requested that we provide a basic supply list for those that will be following along starting Oct 18th when we start the advent tags (step by step instructions for about 7 tags).  That sounded like such a great idea until I had to write it!
I know this list is LONG, but please do not get discouraged.  If you follow this blog, then many of these products may already be in your tool box.
I might add, these are the very basic items used in the calendar.  The real list if items in the advent kit is over 3 pages long and includes many vintage things.  So I hope this list will be enough to help with the basic tag foundations.

  2. So, so excited about these kits and spending some time with my friends making them! And to think that a couple weeks ago I spent an evening reviewing the posts from the original tags and making my own supply list so we could do it! LOL! Can't wait to see how many things I missed. Thank you for this and for all the work that goes in to pulling these kits together!
