I personally loved everything about the booth, from the top hats to the hanging lights. Speaking of hanging lights...you might notice in the picture below what the lights are hanging from, a rescued ladder found on the side of the road. So for those of you who guessed "ladder" from the last post, you were right. I suppose that is what made getting the seat down in my friends Honda Accord even funnier since the ladder was so big (and soaking wet). Of course it was cut to size for the booth wall so this piece seems so very manageable.
Well, I will leave the rest of the photos for Deb and her post this weekend. I am going back to packing the last box of Christmas decorations (yes, it is sad but true) and getting organized again after the last minute chaos that happens every CHA.
Thanks everyone for sticking with us while we were away.
cheers!
paula
I took can't wait…I've dying to see your 5 words book and other projects up close. The booth was gorgeous for sure. I pre-ordered my paints already! So many other things I need to buy as well. Super excited about it all.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back! Can't wait to see all the inspiration that you have to share with us! And a closer looks at the projects you had on display at Tim's booths! And I just put my 1st box of Christmas decorations away... 32 more to go - looks like a very busy weekend ahead!

ReplyDeleteI just finished putting away my Christmas stuff yesterday also!! And I didn't go away for a major event like you did! And I found out yesterday, that my brother in AZ still has not put his stuff away!
So we are in good company, our procrastinators!
Don't worry about us faithful readers, we will hang in with you guys no matter what. Take you time and when you are ready, we will be here waiting with anticipation for all the goodness that you are willing to share!
Ms Lucie,
DeleteThat is the nicest comment. We appreciate our readers so much and it nice to know we can do our job, attend to our families as well as share our work here. It really is a fine balance every week.
thank you so much,
paula and deb

The booth looks amazing, I am sure Deb has more pics right?! Love the ladder!!!
ReplyDeleteFrom the videos and pictures I've seen of CHA that booth was the best. Would love to go shopping there for antiques and supplies. Glad to hear you had laundry to do when you got back that means you had time to pack some clothes. Kept picturing you running around with just a ladder for cover. All kidding aside, hope you get caught up with all life's chores and looking forward to seeing both of yours creations with the new products!
ReplyDeleteHilarious Peggy...that would have been quite a sight! I did keep my clothes on the entire show, lol.

ReplyDeleteI've been a Tim Holtz fan for a year or more, and have slowly been buying his products and using them in my creations. I love the way you use his products!
glad you are back...you didn't really think you were the only ones with Christmas decor still to pack did you??? you have lots of company on that one...including this house! Although it will be 12 below zero tomorrow so a good day to stay in and clean...although I'd rather be crafting...we'll see!! Looking forward to your show notes!
